BJ Talor-Longpre was born in the south and moved to North Carolina at an early age. The components of rural landscape began her inspiration into the world of art. Through the years her passion and cultural background have given her the necessary tools in which to broaden her appreciation for art in many forms.

Her works have been featured at Blue Moon Gallery, Boundless Gallery, and Artworks Fine Art Gallery.  She has been a member at Wilmington Art Association, Allied Artist of America, Inc., and Blue Moon Gallery.

BJ is also a published author of two books entitled:
Justice Repaid (a crime drama) which is being worked into a screenplay, and Voices (a thriller). Several books are presently in progress.
